Everything You Need From Trader Joe’s For Your Next Girls’ Night

Aside from the atrocious parking lot situation, Trader Joe’s is the perfect grocery store for girls. Like everything we had in our childhood play kitchens is there, but this time, we have flirty bag boys and alcohol! Whether you’re cooking dinner or hosting movie night, here’s a list of goodies to pick up the next time you’re entertaining:

For Home-y Touches

  • From classic roses to unique bouquets of unicorn gypsophila, TJ’s has stems for your space. Add a little color and dimension to your home for under $12.

  • You tell me: which one sounds better? “Do you have a dog?” or “It smells so good in here!”

Dips, Sauces, and Spreads

  • Hey Siri, can you play I’m That Girl by Beyonce?

Make a graze plate with chips, crackers, and veggies with this hummus as the center star.

  • Mild is out, cowboy is in. Grab a bag of corn chips and pig out.

  • BRUH. Spicy, but hits! I just realized I haven’t seen this in a minute, so hopefully it’s still in the ether. Pair with TJ’s Organic Elote Corn Chips. Trust me!

  • Pretty sure this southen delicacy is seasonal. If you can get your hands on it, serve with cream cheese and crackers. Crowd fave.

  • Pair with strawberries, TJ’s Pink Lady Apple Chips, Belgian Butter Waffle Cookies or graham crackers. Add mini chocolate chips if you’re feeling extra.

Apps

  • Skinny! Serve with Sweet Chili Sauce (not skinny.)

  • Look at the font—it’s giving elegance without the effort. Nara Smith with an air fryer. They’re so good, you’ll regret not buying two boxes.

  • The grip charcuterie boards has on this generation… Y’all wanna be on Real Housewives sooo bad. Me too. Grab these and a few of your favorite cheeses for a meat and cheese board with a spicy twist.

Salty Shareables

  • I could eat a whole bag of these in a day. For the sake of my back, these are only safe in group settings.

  • What is it with us constantly craving fries? These are good. Serve with ketchup, ranch, or the Chick-fil-a sauces that have been in your drawer for the last three months.

  • These bang in my household and I don’t even like pretzels.

Dinner in 30 Minutes or Less

  • Cooking? You’re better than me.

Honestly, you’re safe with any of their prepared pastas. I toss these in their Vegan Pesto, steam some broccoli, and call it a day.

  • Heat on the skillet, divide into bowls, and top each serving with an egg (sunny side up) and salt. Drizzle on some sriracha and make up a story that you learned this recipe while you studied abroad in Seoul, Korea.

  • Tell your friends to bring their passports. It’s getting Italian in this b*tch. Serve with a big ass Caesar salad and a wine of choice.

  • One of my absolute faves! Pre-marinated chicken that I can toss in the crockpot and pair with any pasta or green veg for the next 3-4 days. Easy as can be.

  • If soup is on the menu, swing by the bakery section and grab their Sourdough Boules. Take the top off that Maybach (carve out a bowl shaped center) and fill to the brim. Panera who?

Vegetarian Alternative: Organic Lentil Vegatable Soup (canned)

For Your Sweet Tooth

  • New game night idea: Tell your friends you have these and watch them fight to the death over them. Available in milk chocolate, too.

  • Their version of Sour Patch Kids that I try to convince myself are healthier because the packaging isn’t bright as hell.

  • Celebrating a birthday, promotion, or break-up? Grab this cake. Or her rich sister, the Dark Chocolate Ganache Mini Sheet Cake. Both are incredible.

  • South in your mouth! Maybe I’m just a h*e for banana pudding, but this is… this is it. It honestly might break your heart to share it. Grab two just in case.

  • I mean…realistically you can get these in any grocery stores frozen section, but sometimes, the TJ’s ones come heart-shaped and that’s just giving girliness.

  • These hate to see me coming. I like to eat these at the end of the night with a cup of tea and pretend I’m a UK baddie.

Bevs

  • I gotta be honest: I haven’t tried this yet, but what’s girls’ night without a little experimenting? I hear nothing but good things about GT’s paloma in kombucha form.

Pour into some chilled highball glasses, add grapefruit slices for garnish, and pretend you’re poolside at the Versace Mansion.

  • When I tell you my friends and I take these to the mf head in the spring and summer. Oh, baby—go ahead and add to your cart. Peach, mango, rose. The flavor don’t matter. Just thank me later.

What’s something you can’t live without from Trader Joe’s. Dying to know. Sound off in the comments.
