Lexi may not be Mrs. Right, but she’s Mrs. Right Now.

This week’s episode began as the Golden Bachelor contestants judged a pageant on the first group date. The girls weren’t all that, say, talented. However, they were good sports and seemed to have fun with it. Except for Sydney. Sydney is exactly who we thought she was, the kind of person that you meet and hope not to ever again. Don’t say I didn’t tell you so. Lexi won the pageant.

As the night progressed, it was Maria and Joey that shared an honest conversation about how compatible their personalities are (or are not). And thennnn, the week two drama reared it's ugly head. Okay- Madina isn’t ugly, but she’s definitely not cool for making Joey think Maria is a bully. Sydney, of course, then inserted herself into the situation, once again making it all about her. More to come there. Kelsey A received the group date rose.

The one-on-one was Jenn’s wave to ride. They went surfing and Joey’s Hawaiian a$$ assumed the coaching role. Poor Jenn explained that she is scared of sharks, but that didn’t stop her from taking a bite out of Joey. Hard to know if all the making out was good or a sign they didn’t have much to talk about.

The second group date was as Joey coded as it could get, the Bachelor Open! Tennis, it was tennis. Evalin and Kelsey T aka Lobster and Butter took the prize, but it was Daisy’s sense of humor that was a grand slam. However, it was Katelyn that received the group date rose after opening up about her family.

We got our first pool party of the season officially sponsored by KFC. It was finger lickin’ good, up until the point that Sydney decided to slander Maria. She pulled Joey aside and told him that Maria was attacking Madina and creating a hostile environment in the house. Queue eye roll. Of course Joey had to do his due diligence and pulled Maria aside to discuss the situation. Maria handled it well, doing her best to be honest and forthcoming about the situation. Unlike Sydney.

In the end, they both received roses. Chrissa, Starr, and Evalin were not as fortunate and left roseless.

Rose Recap

It was a strong first week of predictions for the Rosetradamus correctly predicting 14 out of the 15 roses given in week 3. Of the three that went home, we had correctly predicted Chrissa and Starr to be in that group, we were incorrect on Evalin going home, having had Sydney in the bottom three.

Season Accuracy: 93.3% 🔮

Tortured Contestant Department

Finally, it should be said that we leave room for Sydney to be cast as the villain and not a truly terrible person. It would not be the first time it has happened and it certainly won’t be that last. Now, somebody (Joey) please save Maria from Sydney and her deceptive torturous ways.

Cheers, and thanks for being here for the right reasons.
