Dance, dance Joey!
Week 2 of the Bachelor had a little bit of everything. The first group daters enjoyed a wedding preview, Evalin left it all on the floor, and Rachel hit the floor- in more ways than one. Literally falling on the ground preparing for the day before eventually falling into our Bachelor’s arms winning a first dance with Joey. Oh yeah, Michael Bolton was there. Fun. It was Maria’s wardrobe change that stole the show (powerful), but she was ultimately robbed of the group date rose. I’m sorry, but Jess? C’mon.
It was Daisy that received the first one-on-one of the season- shocker. More dancing! She and Joey enjoyed bands we’ve never heard, discussed her non-profit, and her health trouble. Daisy was charming and Joey was a gentleman. They seem to have chemistry. If Daisy doesn’t win, she screams Bachelorette.
The second group date involved a paint war meets capture the flag event which was even less entertaining than it sounds. Edwina secured the win for her team and the bonus time with Joey. She’s sweet, but the chemistry is not there.
Our primary drama came from Sydney inserting herself into the Madina and Maria situation. Quick recap: Madina made a (very staged) comment about her insecurities with her own age. Maria said “I’m the same age,” clearly trying to say it’s not something Madina should feel insecure about. Well, Sydney decided that it was condescending and tried to get the house to turn on Maria. We all know it was really about Maria’s sexy wardrobe change on her group date. Tsk, tsk. Sydney is officially on this Bachelor watchers sh*t list.
We lost Lauren who left on her own accord. Taylor, Erika, and Marlena were sent home the old fashioned way.

I mentioned last week that I’m shooting for 90% rose prediction accuracy on the season. So here’s how this works. Since we don’t always know the number of people who will go home in a given week I will base accuracy off of the previous week’s Rose Rankings. For example, say three people go home, in order for me to hit 100% they would need to be the bottom three listed on the previous Rose Rankings. I hope to be your Rose-tradamus and source for spoiler free Bachelor content.
Cheers, and thanks for being here for the right reasons.
